Harvesting Poplar Trees

The first step in Harvesting Poplar Trees is finding a suitable site with the properly aged trees.

First you must find the ideal tree to cut based on requirements of height and age standards. Then you must check the surroundings to ensure that you will not disturb any wildlife that is in your area of effect. When cutting the tree you must look at the way the tree is standing, and determine your cut so that the tree will not harm anything or fall where you do not want it to. It is better if you are to avoid situations like in this picture, where a tree is leaning upon another. As you can see here, the tree has been caught and it now must be cut accordingly so it can reach the ground safely.
