ILA Forest Education Van News

The Interior Logging Forest Education Van has had its annual "sprucing-up". New display pictures were added, some touch-up painting was done and it was ready for the road once again.

A new public display board on the MPB epidemic was recently developed by Deb Sluggett (Okanagan/Columbia Education Liaison) and Debbie Bazzett (COFI Soth Forest Education) and was recently unveiled at the ILA's tradeshow in Vernon.

The van is busy visiting Okanagan-Columbia and Thompson schools during May and June. UBC Faculty of Forest student, Carleigh Johnston, has been hired as driver/presenter and will offer public presentations during the spring and summer.
