Our Living Resource - The Forest

The grade 5 teaching kit, "Our Living Resource - the Forest" is a resource unit for grade 5 science teachers. The first edition, developed by Jeannie Steele and Debbie Sluggett, came out in 1997. This past year the kit has been updated, expanded to include CLEM and a Forest Health lesson and professionally reprinted to create the 2nd edition. Teachers in the Cariboo, Thompson, West Kootenay and Okanagan-Columbia areas received the kit via a district workshop. Everyone is welcome to download the lessons from the Learnforestry.com site.
