Promoting Forestry as a Career Choice- Visiting Local High Schools
In November, Debbie and Kalon hosted recruiters from the forestry programs at UBC and BCIT. Presentations by Kelly Hatfull (BCIT) and Lesley Fettes (UBC) were well received, reaching approximately 500 students in the Okanagan-Columbia zone. The following schools participated: Kalamalka Secondary, Clarence Fulton Secondary, A.L. Fortune Secondary, W.L. Seaton Secondary, Revelstoke Secondary, Osoyoos Secondary, Similkameen Secondary, Mount Boucherie Secondary, and George Elliot Secondary.
