"Forestry…Much More Than Just Trees!"- Fall Pro D Day

On October 20th  Debbie B. and Kalon hosted an all-day workshop at Mission Creek Park in Kelowna.  Teachers learned first-hand about some of the technology and science used to help manage our forests.  Some of the topics covered that day included: Forest Measurements, Ecology, Mapping, Forest Health, and Integrated Resource Management.  The following local professionals helped make this event a huge success: Joel Springer (Gorman Brothers), Jerome Girard (Tolko), Wolfgang Beck (BCTS), and Ian Wilson (City of Kelowna).  The next Pro D-day is February 16th.
