Introducing a New Forest Educator...

A resident of the Okanagan area for over 25 years, Kalon Nahachewsky is the newly-hired forest educational liaison for the Okanagan-Columbia zone. He is a certified teacher with a degree in natural resource science from UCC, along with experience in forestry and other related areas. Kalon welcomes the opportunity to be able to use his knowledge and experience to benefit student learning, while helping to maintain positive lasting relations between the forest sector and education system. He has enjoyed being a part of the forest education team over the past few months and looks forward to all the activities and events planned for 2006.
