When looking to get the materials you will need:

• Contact your local mills for the clear wood (Douglas fir or Larch, Cedar, Spruce or Pine).
• If you are having students work in groups of 4, you will not need a lot of wood.
• Your school Wood Working teacher should be able to cut the wood into one-metre strips.
• The wood used in the Engineered Wood Demo should be kept for future use.
• The wooden square is simply a slice off a wooden post.
• Contact your local "large equipment" dealer as a possible source for the buckets. (Some offer to recycle used hydraulic fluid buckets for their customers.)
• Contact your local carpet centres for the 8 carpet samples.
